Rosa sends us a picture of a jacket that she made her mom for Christmas.  She used the Sugar and Shorty designs with the names and birth dates of her grandchildren.  Such a cute idea!   Thank you for letting us see your wonderful idea Rosa.

Here's a close up of some of the Wee Workers designs on a wall hanging I did.  The picture to the right shows the entire little hanging.

JASWW1.gif (40379 bytes)
Joanne sends us the little Wee Workers stitched on glass towel from WalMart.  She does advise that the towels are no longer available in her area, but they would be so cute on any type of towel you choose.  As usual, Joanne shows she uses the designs she buys and those who receive them from her are fortunate indeed.  She does lovely work!
JASWW2.gif (43661 bytes)
Another view of the Wee Workers stitched by Joanne.
Thank you for continuing to use and enjoy my designs Joanne.
RRHD1.gif (62377 bytes)
Here's a picture of Rhonda's quilt that she used the Heavenly Duty designs.  What a cute idea for using these day of the week designs and they look so cute with the fabrics chosen here.   Thank you for giving us another idea for using them Rhonda.
SSNO.gif (17956 bytes)
Sharon has a novel idea for using the Noel - A Nativity set.  She stitches this little design on a finger tip towel, but only using the "halo" filled and the outline of the design.  She used metallic when stitching out the halo to highlight the design detail.  A quick and darling idea.  She finishes her project by using a pretty Christmas ribbon for trim.  Add a special message such as she has done, and you have a wonderful, quick gift.
BSCC1.gif (34510 bytes)
Barbara has chosen the Carmen and Chico designs to embellish a black jumper.  They look beautiful against this dark color.  Barbara advises that she will wear a white turtleneck under the jumper in the winter and a short sleeve white knit top in the summer.   Dual duty from a great project idea!
BSCC2.gif (32708 bytes)
Here's a close up of the designs to the left by Barbara.
ABSU.gif (49330 bytes)
Another beautiful quilt made by Andrea in New Zealand using the Sugar designs.  It's hard to see the designs when the picture is taken down this small, but the colors show up beautifully .   Visit Projects page 4 to see what Andrea has done with the Honey Bea tread doll!   Thank you Andrea.
DGBG.gif (16986 bytes)
Here's an example of what I did with a couple of the Homespun designs.  I embroider them on ribbons and use them on gift packages for the bride and groom.  They are so cute and the bride loves a lasting momento that can then be cut and used as a bookmark.
RPchair3.gif (38428 bytes)
Another chair by Roberta, see my comment below please...
AKPD.gif (25116 bytes)
This very precious child is wearing a dress made and decorated by Anna.  Anna used paper doll material and embroidered little dresses on the collar from my free designs still available on SewNTell's site.  Such a cute idea and we thank Anna for sharing it with us.
RPchair1.gif (31630 bytes)
The 3 pictures of the rockers were done by Roberta using the Sugar and Shorty Designs.   Roberta did all of the painting, embroidery and sewing for these 2 precious chairs.   She has done such a pretty job and we appreciate her sharing her beautiful work and creative idea with us.

The picture to the left and this close up shows the Sugar and Shorty quilt made by Angela using '30's retro fabric for the sashing.  She has made such a treasure from these 2 sets combining the design sets and the use of the fabric.  Angela offers quilts for sale and makes quilts for special occasions.

DNTT1.gif (10742 bytes)
Dori sends us pictures of the front of birth announcements that she did using the Crib Crowd designs.   She adds the script for these and I'm sure thrills the parents and makes a heirloom to be treasured forever.
DNTT2.gif (10963 bytes)

This is the little girl Dori uses from Crib Crowd.  Aren't they sweet?  Thank you for sending these Dori.
The quilt to the right is a mother/daughter effort.  Debbie and Barbara used the Friends Forever set to enhance this wonderful baby quilt which is enhanced by blue and white patch quilting.  As always, it's a shame that space doesn't allow me to provide a larger picture... this is a precious labor of love, beautifully done.
Both of these ladies are customers of Louise Adam's "The Fabric Shop" in Ruston, LA.

MLN.gif (40540 bytes)
Margaret has sent us a picture of the little nativity set Noel.  She stitched the figures out on felt, cut around them and did the same with an extra piece of felt.  She then stitched around 3 sides making a "pocket".  This enables her to stand the figures up.  Such a clever and creative way to use these designs.

MLN2.gif (42526 bytes)
Another picture of Margaret's Noel set.   This one was placed in front of a different background and shows the little wood box she placed and used as the manger.  Notice also that by the construction method she used, it allows her to change the position of the different figures in the set.   Thank you so much for sending us your pictures Margaret!

LDV.gif (42860 bytes)
Leslie has sent us a picture of a shirt she placed the little Veggies on.  What a cute idea and perfect for all of the summertime patio parties!

LDAA.gif (50832 bytes)
Here Leslie shows us a beautiful birth pillow she made.  I'm sorry I couldn't bring up the picture better, but she has used designs from the Angelic Activity set and variegated thread for the writing on the pillow.  A treasure for a new baby.. the greatest treasure of all!!

CSGG50.gif (34427 bytes)
Carol has sent us a wonderful example of using the Glamour Girl designs.  She used a sweatshirt cut down the middle and finished with bias tape and commercial snaps.  She has added the gal's sorority letters on the stool.  This will be worn on a cruise with fellow sorority sisters.  Great job Carol!

BLFSB.gif (32853 bytes)
Barbara has sent us pictures of DOW towels she made with my old free sunbonnets.  Barbara did a wonderful job and used the Martha Stewart towels to put them on.  These designs are available on Sew'NTell's site  http://www.sewntell2.20megsfree.com/designs13.html

MWCSB.gif (22711 bytes)
Mary Wiley shares with us the ultimate labor of love!  A beautiful quilt made from the Colonial Sunbonnet Set.  I wish space on my site would allow me to increase the size of this picture... the quilt is beautiful and matches the surroundings in this bedroom perfectly.  This quilt and the designs used reminds us how versatile the designs are.  Until now, I had never thought of using DOW designs for a quilt, and yet they represent what every lady does   taking care of her family.  Thank you Mary.

NCCC.gif (11133 bytes)
Nell sent me this design to sew out to show me what she did with the little free design in the Crib Crowd set. She (and I'm quoting) "turned him a bit, drew him a stool and fishing line in L&E, and imported a fish from another source after downsizing it.  She did a great job with him and it shows what fun we can have with these designs. I had fun sewing him out!!

SCBUR.gif (22961 bytes)
Sue sends us a picture of 2 little burpers she has made using one from the Sugar set and one from Angelic Activities.  She has decorated them with coordinating rickrack.  Mom's love these and Sue has done a super job on them!  Thank you Sue.

SCSUR.gif (19254 bytes)
Here Sue shows us 2 more of the little burpers again using the Sugar set and the colored rick rack. It looks so cute matching the color of their dresses.

MHFF#2.gif (21809 bytes)
Mary has sent us pictures of some receiving blankets that she made from different colored flannel and used her serger to finish the edges with.  She has decorated these little blankets with the Friends Forever set.  As usual, a picture never does justice.. they are so cute!

MHYC#1.gif (24912 bytes)
Here Mary shows some of her creative talent with these little bibs made from ftt's and using knit bands to match the color in the design from the Yesterday's Children set.  Mary chose this set to use for the toddler age set.  Colorful and Cute!

MHCC.gif (24075 bytes)
Here's a delightful set of bibs that Mary in Shreveport completed using the designs from the new Crib Crowd collection.   They will make wonderful gifts for the mom's to be or a gift for the new little one.

MLTT.gif (31314 bytes)
Once again, Margaret Lashbrook has sent us a picture of her "painting" the fabric to blend and assist the designs using the Timeless Tots in this little wallhanging.    She has even painted in a little blue pond for the 2 in the rowboat!!  Thanks Margaret.  Another creative way to use this set.

NBClock.gif (31709 bytes)
Nikki has used one of the designs from the "Dotty's Doin's" set to stitch the face of her bathroom clock.  Another creative way to incorporate our love of designs in with something else for our home or as a gift for someone special. What a great idea!!  Thanks Nikki!  You can visit Nikki's web site at http://hometown.aol.com/bnikkib

Joanne sends us the pics of the new Kitty Kapers set embroidered on little towels from Wal-Mart.  She advised that she used "twister" thread for the kitty bodies and that it added "that special touch" to them.  Joanne always does such lovely work.  Thanks for sending the pictures!

Pat sends us these 2 lovely birth samplers that she makes.  They appear to be embroidered on ecru linen, with hemstitching around the design area.   She embellishes them with the information about the little one.  What lovely pieces and something to be treasured forever.  Pat has chosen designs from my "Yesterday's Children" set.

MHTT1.gif (59758 bytes) MHTT2.gif (62716 bytes)
Here Mary Hawkins shows us the heirloom quilt she created using the Timeless Tots set.  Mary has chosen a navy background to set the designs on, and then bordered them and sashed with various complimentary fabrics. It has certainly carries forward the look of the designs with the nostalgic looking prints.  And as usual, we can see why everyone loves to see what Mary is creating. This treasure will someday be given to Mary's little grandson.... for now, he enjoys it when  he visits Grandma and Grandpa.    Thanks for sending the pictures as in inspiration to us all!

MBQ2.gif (38684 bytes) MBQ3.gif (37067 bytes)
Margaret has taken some Alexander Henry material and the Yesterday's Children set, combined them for one of the most adorable wallhangings.  In the 2nd picture, you can see a close up of some of the embroidered designs on plain material, painted around it to blend in with the actual fabric and combined the 2 for such a treasure!  I'm sure you will agree that both the use of designs and the fabric, as well as the sashing, creates a most special piece.

MBQ1.gif (143034 bytes)
Here's the picture of her entire wallhanging.  I think a picture is worth a thousand words.... so I'll be silent and let you enjoy this lovely work of quilting and embroidery!  Thank you Margaret for sending this for all to enjoy.

These wonderful towels were made as a housewarming gift for Marilyn's daughter-in-law.  She embroidered the Heavenly Duties set on the wrong side of the fabric to give the background a "clouded look"...then placed the design on top of the towel using a velcro fastener rather than putting the designs on the toweling fabric.  That leaves the towel free to dry your hands and as we all know, people are hesitant to use a towel with embroidery because they don't want to "mess it up".  What a wonderful idea!
